Documentary Wedding Photography in Cheshire

Ant and Lynsay welcome you to Icon Studio. We are a multi award-winning male and female Cheshire Wedding Photography team specialising in natural, non-intrusive documentary style photography, capturing your day without any fuss or non stop posing. Unlike many wedding photographers we capture your day from both sides in the morning, all the way to your first dance. No second shooters or add on photographers - 2 professional award winning wedding photographers, with you all day; a part of your day - documenting it all, as it happens. We work mainly in the North West region but cover the whole of the UK and abroad.

We are proud Recipients of "Wedding Photographer of the year” 4 years running - 2017-2020 with the North West Enterprise Awards, and winners of the prestigious English Wedding Award for the “North West Wedding Photographer of the year 2018”. We have most recently been awarded “Best Wedding Photography Team” in the Global Excellence awards for 2023 and “Most Innovative Photography & Film Team 2023” In the Small Business Awards 2023. Our images have been nationally recognised by the Guild of Photographers Image Awards. We are members of the prestigious Photography Guild and featured in various wedding blogs and press publications across the UK.

In 2018 we announced our new arrival - the Docu-Film, a perfect completion of your photographic needs. A documentary highlight film, shot by us meaning you get perfect photographs and an accompanying film all under one roof, no stress or posing normally associated with some films, and cutting out the need to find other reputable suppliers.

We are a male and female team, meaning that we can spread our time with both sides from the very beginning of the day, making sure that all aspects of your of your story are told. We specialise in non-intrusive photography capturing perfect natural images as they happen without any fuss, meaning you can concentrate on what is important - each other!

One Vision

Our mission is simple - to tell your story by creating images that burst with the passion and love that you as a couple share. We promise not to spend hours posing or forcing you into something that isn't representative of your day. Sure, there is time for some naturally posed images, but our drive is to be in the right place at the right time, soaking up the atmosphere and preserving those memories for you to keep forever.

We have been fortunate in the last few years to have been recognised and awarded by some prestigious organisations. We have been classed as the top wedding photographer in the North West for the last 4 years, winning "Best Wedding Photographer" at the North West Enterprise Awards 2017-2020, and also the “Wedding Photographer of the year” in the coverted English Wedding Awards in 2018. We are also 2 x finalists in the County Brides NW Awards as well as winning numerous Image Awards with the Guild Of Wedding Photographers.
