Wedding Photography at The Belle Epoque, Knutsford.

We often say that venues are like buses - we can go months and not shoot at one and then we shoot there twice in close succession and this is exactly what happened with The Belle Epoque in Knutsford. We shot the wedding of Nicole & Jonathan here in January but it’s the wedding of Jo & Simon who chose to get married in December that we want to share with you.

Now Jo & Simon were married at 4pm and on a December afternoon, as a photographer that means that it’s nearly dark by the time the ceremony is over - it wasn’t an issue as Jo & Simon only really wanted a few couples photographs and then wanted to head back to their guests to enjoy the mince pies and mulled wine!

For us the key here was getting outside in the December rain and using ‘ the alley’ to create a stunning silhouette shot for Jo & Simon - it was then back inside for the formals, some shots of the girls & guys and then the reception.
