Where do we start with this amazing Oak Tree wedding?

Well, I got to The Oak Tree and met Amy and her bridesmaids early on. On arrival I found them busy helping to prep the Ladybird room in between having their hair and make up done! Outside was a brooding storm, and continuous rain. Ant arrived a little later to capture Adam getting ready with his groomsmen as well as the guests arriving armed with umbrella’s!

Now we love shooting weddings at The Oak Tree, both the Acorn and Ladybird room are so well lit with natural light, that irrespective of weather; are flood with light which makes our job easy! (kind of..!) After the vows had been exchanged we waited for a break in the weather (there is always a break at some point) then it was outside for some family formals and then out into The Oak Tree Meadows for some couples shots. A massive shout out to Amy here who to be honest wasn’t too sure about heading out after the rain, but a quick swap of footwear, and a scoop of the dress, off we went - when she got her photographs back - in her words - “it was well worth it!”
