It’s always special being asked to shoot a wedding of someone who you know, a friend, someone who has watched you work your socks off, knows the amount of effort you give to each wedding and knows that from you, as with every couple they will get nothing but 110%.

Combermere Abbey hosted the incredibly special day of Jen & Johnny - an outdoor ceremony, drenched in sunshine, ice cream; good food and even better company. We seem to have been lucky when it comes to Combermere weddings, the sun always shines, the giant jenja comes out and it all gets a little competitive!

Jen and Johnny both got ready at Combermere in the cottages, with both Ant & I making sure neither one saw each other. When it was time, Jen and her ladies made the walk down what I call the avenue, and then it was out into the maze to become husband and wife. The maze hosted the sun-drenched daytime drinks and canapés as the guests mingled with laurel and hardy, whilst we whisked the couple off to get some of our signature shots before heading back to the wedding reception, where the celebrations continued into the evening.
