The Oak Tree of Peover

When we caught up with Kasanita and Adam we knew that this Oak Tree Wedding was going to have that unique wedding twist, a surprise that they were saving until the very last dance.

Both Kasanita and Adam chose to use the Oak Tree to get ready at so as far as bridal and grooms preparations go it was very relaxed and with some home made lawn games proving to be a hit with the guests that arrived early!

So as 2pm drew closer, Kasanita and her bridal party soaked up the atmosphere in the bridal prep room, and as I always do I asked if Kas would like me stay and get her fathers reaction when he sees her for the first time. For me it's a moment which you only get to do once and a moment that you can't ever replay! It was then time for the walk and to say their I Do's, the mingle, to relax and to enjoy their day in-between a few well timed shots with us. 

The speeches followed and by the time they were done there wasn't a dry eye in the house, with Adam choosing to perform some of his speech in Tongan - a personal and meaningful speech which he had learnt as a surprise for the family. The Tongan traditions didn't end there as the pre-cursor to the first dance was a Tongan Hakka which everyone loved!
