 Although we’ve shot at The Mere quite a lot, this was our very first outdoor ceremony, and it did not disappoint. When I arrived with Cherie in the morning, it was very hit and miss as to whether it would be outside or not, but and in the words of Cherie “ it’s only a bit drizzly” and thank goodness for her steady nerve as the drizzle stopped minutes before the ceremony started.

Anyway back to the morning, Cherie and Luke both got ready at The Mere which meant that Luke could take part in a game the bridesmaids had devised - Guess the Dress - have a little look in the blog it make sense but lets just say he didn’t get it too far wrong at all - Not Bad!!

The boys went for full on Tuxedo’s and even tied the dickies’ themselves! The ladies were in a fitted nude / blush number with diamanté detail around the neck line and Cherie wore a gorgeous gown by Mori Lee - a big dress - completely my kind of wedding dress! All finished off with white bouquets of roses, hydrangeas and peonies. Then it was into the ceremony which as mentioned was outside, overlooking the mere and taking full advantage of the panorama!

The rain carried on visiting us throughout the day but it certainly didn’t hold these two back or dampen the mood of the day, check out their blog below.
