Wedding Photography at The Cottons Hotel & Spa, Cheshire.

A question we get asked a lot is “What if it rains on our wedding day?” and our reply is always “We don’t worry about the rain, because if it rains, we’ll work around it and find a space in the day where we can go outside and get some shots of you guys together” - after all you can’t negotiate with mother nature!

When Jon & Laura tied the knot, it rained. It started raining on my drive to the church, just after both Ant & I had shot the bridal and grooms prep - and didn’t stop until after the wedding breakfast - yes there were intermittent breaks in the downpours but it was that, as my nan would say - fine rain that’s soaks you through!

The wedding ceremony was held at Saint Michael’s Church in Flixton, and the reception was The Cottons Hotel in Knutsford and after a quick confetti shot in some light drizzle ( the guests were incredible and happy to don umbrella’s in one hand and confetti in another to give Laura & Jon a shot they really wanted!) it was back to The Cottons to celebrate the rest of the day.

Now while the majority of the day was spent inside ( thanks rain!) it was straight after the wedding breakfast we got our chance, the rain stopped and the sunshine appeared! Laura & Jon were more than happy to jump in our car and trust our judgement and after a quick drive we stopped at a field and were able to capture these two being well a couple in love who’ve just said I Do!
